Light heavyweight "Mad" Max Heyman (22-10-4, 13 KOs) is scheduled to fight at Tingley Coliseum in his hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico on January 29, 2010. His opponent is to be determined. He was originally going to face "Mad" Mike Alderete (6-4-2, 3 KOs).
Heyman, who made his debut in 1997, has fought two bona fide world class opponents in recent years. He lost to Adrian Diaconu, who was 20-0 at the time, in 2006. In 2007, he fought against Chris Henry, who was 18-0 when they met, and came up short. Heyman hasn't fought since the Henry bout.
